Rescue from mud – Christchurch

Description: Fire crews from Christchurch and Springbourne with technical rescue crews from Poole have rescued a female and a dog from the River Avon in Christchurch. The female entered the water to recover her puppy but after doing so became stuck waist-deep, in the riverbed mud. A fire service wading team quickly rescued both of them.
