Description: We were called at 7.47pm today (30 October) to reports of a property fire at Bowers Hill, Redlynch. Two crews from Salisbury and one from Wilton (Dorset & Wiltshire FRS) along with crews from Fordingbridge and Southampton St Mary’s (Hampshire & Isle of Wight FRS) attended, and six breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets and one main jet to extinguish the fire, which affected the ground floor of the property.
One male casualty and two dogs were rescued from the building and the casualty was left in the care of colleagues from the ambulance service. Our stop was at 10.29pm, and we left the scene by 12.45am. A joint investigation with Wiltshire Police into the cause of the fire has now begun.
