Description: Several calls were received reporting an area of heathland alight on Holt Heath. Three pumping appliances, a water carrier and two land rover pumps were mobilised. Crews attended from Wimborne, Verwood, Redhill Park and Ringwood. Firefighters used six hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The stop message was received at 4.42pm but firefighters remained in attendance to damp down the area until nearly 6pm.
