Description: Control received multiple calls to reports of a vehicle fire down an alley in Rayfield Grove, Swindon. Further calls were received also stating that this had now spread to a fence and the property. A crew from Swindon Fire Station were mobilised to the incident and on route, due to a large amount of smoke in the area, they quickly made up for a further appliance to assist. Once in attendance the officer in charge then made up further for a third appliance due to confirmation that the fire had spread to the property. Crews managed to extinguish the fire using 6x Breathing Apparatus wearers, 2x 52mm jets, a Hose reel covering jet and small tools. Fire crews also managed to rescue a dog from one of the adjacent properties that had also been affected by the fire and administered oxygen. Fire investigation is being undertaken at the property to try and ascertain the cause of the fire.
