Thank you for booking SDSA 360 VR for your students. As a reminder, this is a teacher led initiative so on this page you will find everything you need to deliver the 50 minute lesson. As arranged with your coordinator, volunteers from Fire, Police or other partners will attend at the agreed time to set up and facilitate the virtual reality technology whilst you teach – please remember they will not be trained or equipped to help deliver any part of the lesson itself. Please find to follow:
- The SDSA 360 VR Lesson Plan (word)
- The SDSA 360 VR Lesson (PowerPoint)
- The SDSA 360 VR Action Plan (word) – this is a takeaway for students
- The VR Headset Risk Assessment (excel)
- The SDSA participation consent letter (word)
Please also ask your students to complete our pre and post lesson evaluation forms as part of the lesson. It is important we are able to capture changes in attitude and feedback in order to ensure the lesson is as effective as possible. We will use this feedback to improve the lesson for future delivery and inform future resources. The links are as follows and there are QR codes on the lesson plan if you’d like to drop these in to the presentation instead:
