Helping children and teenagers understand risky behaviours and helping them make positive and safer choices is very important.
Via our fire, water and road safety education, we are able to offer a variety of resources to help educate the children in your care.
- Parents and carers: knowing how to help your child stay safe at the different stages of their development is important. Modelling safe behaviours is very important to help them understand how to make safe choices, however it is also important to remove their access to the danger in some cases. Click here for more.
- Primary schools: the Education team will be in contact with details of our offerings to your school. If you have concerns about the fire safe behaviours of your pupils, or if there has been a incident near your school which could cause some concerns, please get in touch.
- Secondary and SEND schools: please contact us.
- Home education: We know that many children and teenagers are now educated at home. To make sure our safety education is available to all children, we will be hosting Home Education Safety Days at fire stations across our Service area each year. Dates and locations of Home Education Safety Days will be published soon.
